Community Guidelines

Rules for respectful and constructive civic participation.

1. MISSION OF ENGAGEMENT

CiViC Bharat is dedicated to fostering constructive, non-partisan communication between Citizens and Public Authorities. These Guidelines ensure the Platform remains a safe and credible space for civic improvement.

2. VERACITY & GOOD FAITH

  • Factual Accuracy: You must report only what you have directly observed or verified. Submitting fabricated issues is a material breach of these Guidelines.
  • No Malicious Intent: The Platform shall not be used to settle personal scores or harass individuals through the administrative process.

3. PROHIBITED CONTENT

Violation of the following will result in immediate content removal and potential account suspension:

  • Defamation: Making unverified or malicious allegations against officials or private citizens.
  • Hate Speech: Any content promoting discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, ethnicity, or region.
  • Political Mobilization: Use of the Platform for political campaigning, organizing protests, or spreading partisan propaganda.
  • Incitement: Encouraging violence or illegal acts against the State or individuals.

4. CIVILITY & RESPECT

  • Tone: While criticism of public services is encouraged, it must be expressed without profanity, obscenity, or inflammatory language.
  • Impersonation: You may not pretend to be a government official or another user.

5. REPEATED VIOLATIONS & REPORTING

We operate a Three-Strike Policy for non-legal violations. Legal violations (hate speech, incitement) result in an immediate and permanent ban.

  • Reporting: Users may flag content that violates these Guidelines through the "Report" feature in the Platform.
